Sunroof glass ripped off!?!?
[rant]I was driving down the freeway at 90+ when I heard a load pop! At first I thought it was just my passanger side window popping out of it's track or something along those lines. So I didn't think much of it after that. Then once I parked and got out I noticed my F*CKING SUNROOF IS GONE!!! WTF!!!
And of course there has to be a huge rain storm hitting So Cal. Heh...[/rant]
BTW, I have a 94 Civic EX just to put it into perspective how old the car is.

No, the slider that keeps the sun from coming in was closed and that works perfectly. Also, my window regulator is jacked on both my driver and pasangers side so my windows roll up at an angle which in turn causes noise in the cab.
My window was closed all the way and it was just my glass that ripped off. I think the epoxy "****" they use to hold the glass in went bad. I did notice that some of the epoxy looked fresh and more than half off it looked hardened.... Some of the fresh stuff ended up on my paint and is a bitch to get off. Hopefully a little simple green can solve the problem.

Same **** happened to me when I was driving down the 60 fwy.
Lately I've been trying to fix the my roof because it was having a problem raising, I've been taking it on and off greasing and replacing the rails, or whatever holds the window down and slides it back, and while was driving down the fwy about 65 mph I heard swoop noise and saw it fly off on to the shoulder. Thank god it didn't hit anyone, but its been a pain in the *** trying to fix and now I have to worry about finding another window.
Also, I did notice that the window itself separated from the frame, and that some the sticky gluey **** that holds it down had harden and cracked.
Does anyone know of a cheap alternative to replacing this? I don't have much money for a new window, and I would like something that is a little more secured to the frame.

Re: (jjjjjoey)
Yea, I took it to a glass repair shop and they just threw in some glass off a Prelude. Fit like a glove. Total cost = $120
