Don't know exact numbers but the B20's header is particularly restrictive. Back in the day, that article about the B20 swap on the Hybrid site had the I/IM/H/E B20B putting down like 150 to the wheels if I remember correctly. Could be wrong about that though.

Re: Suggestions (civic_on_13s)
By the way, there is no EX hatchback.
two routes:
1.) Suspension: Get a nice suspension combo and drop it. Then get some nice rims with meaty tires. You'll notice a DAY and NIGHT difference between the handling characteristcs between the before and after, and it will be a blast to drive through a twisty road.
2.) Engine swap: B series motor, need I explain?
I would lean toward the suspension setup just because 2 grand isn't going to fully cover a complete swap. But another option is to swap in the single cam vtec motor (if your not already an si, see first statement). Single cam swaps are fairly cheap, very decent power for a hatch, and you'd still have some money to mod the suspension. If you already have an SI hatchback, i would do the suspension and rims, then with the remainder get some bolt ons. Goodluck

Re: (civic_on_13s)
suspension and brakes to handle that beast that everybody is telling you to stuff in there. And for both of these two categories i would suggest searching for a good setup for yourself. Welcome to H-T and good luck. Mike D
