Stronger trunk struts?
When I bought my Del Sol, it came with one of these things on the trunk lid:
Not the exact one as above, but you get the idea. Problem is, the additional weight of this thing on the trunk lid is just enough to overcome the stock trunk struts. Taking the targa top off and putting it in the trunk is becoming quite a hassle as the trunk won't stay open.
I do want to keep the luggage rack - my question is, is there an option for a stronger set of trunk struts that can support the weight of the trunk lid along with the luggage rack so the trunk lid will stay open?

Re: Stronger trunk struts?
do some basic research and figure it out.
find out how long the gas struts on your car are, then find the weight rating. then go to a car parts store or search the interwebs for one of the same size that hold more weight.
