stripped ARP head stud?
i was building another motor.. while torquing an ARP head bolt. it felt like it stripped.. any one else have this problem?
i havent yet took the nut off to look at, i'm afraid to
would it be a huge problem if i used one stock head bolt??

Why would it strip? Unless you were torquing it incorrectly, it should not have stripped, unless it was defective. If it's defective, send the whole set back and tell them to replace it.

hmmm maybe i'll do that and have them pay for a new headgasket as well lol..
i've done plenty before and never had this problem... prolly a defect, but then again everyone makes mistakes, i'll have to see what i can do.

yes, pull them off and get a new set if they are defective. If they are not and you just somehow stripped the bolt, either buy a new set or install a set of OEM head bolts. Don't ever mix and match ARP with factory head bolts!

Were you honestly torquing it the way it was supposed to be torqued?
