Default Strange Noise after Short Shifter install

I installed a dual Bend Skunk2 Short Shifter yesterday. It feels GREAT !!! I just need a new boot and shift **** now but there is a near WEIRD noise comming from the car after install it.
It sounds as if its gears rubbing its weird.
I heard that same noise before. When I had my normal shifter if i pushed it into any gear while it was in gear i would hear that same sound. I just tried it on my friends civic SAME noise. If its in gear its fine but if i push it in while driving i hear that sound.
I am getting it in EVERY gear with my new shifter.... What is going on?

Car is a Canadian 1999 Civic Si (American EX), 160,000km (100,000miles)

Pic of the baby I installed.

I installed a short shifter from B&M. Ever since, mine makes a buzzing, vibrating sound when I decelerate. It sounds like the shifter is vibrating on the linkage down underneath the car. It is quite annoying actually.

If you were hearing the noise befor you installed the short shifter, then you having transmission issues. Try installing polyurathane shift bushings, it will help take some of the slop out of your shift linkage and possbily improve your shift accuracy.

If that doesn't help bleed the clutch slave cylinder. If that doesn't help change the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder.(don't forget to bleed) If neither of those are the problem you could have a bad clutch that is not disengaging, or some how all five syncros in your transmission are shot.

When we install the short shifter we bent the exhaust hangers enough so i can push the shifter and still have clearance. I've also tried pushing it down while driving its not touching.

If I am out of gear and I rev it no noise. As soon as i am engaged I hear a hisssssing sound! Not sure where the sound is comming from other than front under somewhere.

You get the same noise if your in gear and push it into gear more on a no short shifter. I am pretty sure its doing it in every gear. I've only had it for a day. I Love the feet but i am worried about the noise

We adjusted the bushing now its super tight with no play.
I never had the noise before. Except if i was for sample in 2nd gear and i have my hand on the 2nd gear and push it further into it.

I am going to ask my mechanic to bleed the clutch slave cylinder, i am not sure how to do that.

Well there's your Throwout Bearing, which is connected to the shift fork lever, that presses/depresses your clutch everytime you press in your clutch pedal... Sometimes this bearing well get worn out or all fubarred and start making a chitter/chatter noise but when you press in the clutch pedal the noise will go away...

Than there's you ISB "Input Shaft Bearing" which is inside the transmission and is the bearing thats connected to your input shaft.. This bearing is small and sometimes can be a BIG pain in the ***... It will also cause a click/clack noise while driving or at idle, but SOMETIMES goes away when you press in the clutch, but not all the time if it's messed up that bad...

Check out what i first said tho, than let us know when you check it whats goin on..

I just tried it.
If i am driving on 2nd at 40km/h then I hit the clutch and RPM goes down (still in 2nd gear) noise goes away. I let it engage by release the clutch and noise is back !

I hope its not the Input Shaft bearing... Changing it seems to be a pain...

I did forget to mention one thing....

the bushing at the end of the rod was loose. I didnt have another bushing on hand so we just wraped ductape a few turns on it to make it thicker so it doesnt move and it was stiff again... could that be pushing the gears into each other and griding?

its not hitting the exhaust. I tried also pushing it out of gear while driving didnt reduce the noise till it disengaged from the gear. Pushing the shifter in would make several louder hissing noises
