Default Strange and interesting ECT problem, please help!

I have a 1992 Honda Civic LX, 1.5 SOHC no vtec. I installed a new car security system yesterday, and i tried to start my car this morning and it took 5 minutes just to get it to run. it idles at about 100 RPM and doesnt stay running for more than 30 seconds. I HAD to go to work, so i was able to open the idle air adjustment screw ALL the way up, now it idles at about 250-300RPM's and sometimes stalls when i put it in neutral to come up to a stoplight. Also, strangely, my door chime doesn't work since i installed the security system. The only code i have just started this morning, while i was attempting to start my car. It's a code 6 - Coolant temperature sensor. I bought a new sensor today and installed it, reset the ECU and code 6 popped back up within 10 seconds. I returned the sensor and got another one, still code 6. I have checked all voltages and tests for the coolant system, as described in the haynes manual, and EVERything registers normal values. I did not tap into any of the wires for coolant system or door chime, except of course the door switches. Anyone have any ideas?
