Problem with the engine coolant temperature sensor/circuit. Can sometimes be caused by low coolant level or air in the system.

 

This is friend car and he didn't bother to tell me that the temp send sensor on the side of the head was broken completely off. I replaced it and did a routine maintence job on it, but the idle still surges, but only in neutral or park. IACV maybe? Will check this the next time he comes here.

 

I got water temp sensor. That's all for now.

 

Dude check the intake gasket to see if its broken. have a 91 accord in the shop now wit same problem.
