The D15b7 puts out like 70 hp and the b16a put down like 160.

Don't answer if you don't what you're talking about, please. There's enough bullshit floating around Honda-Tech to cover all the planet with fertilizer for a year.

D16Z6 - 125hp EX, Si SOHC VTEC
D15B7 - 100hp LX, DX SOHC non-VTEC
D15B8 - 70hp CX SOHC non-VTEC
D15Z1 - 90hp VX SOHC VTEC-E
B16A3 - 160hp DelSol VTEC DOHC VTEC

Give or take a couple horsepower here and there, resources always differ by 1-3 hp.

yes the D15b7 has only 70 HP, and only 8 valves. Its the lower HP engine honda has produced since the original hondas in the early 80's.

No.

B16A2 comes in the USDM 1999-2000 Honda Civic Si. Those are NOT EG. Those are EM1. Those are also DOHC VTEC and rated at about the same power.

the B16a2 came from the 99-00 Si coupes, that had about 160hp. The B16 that came in EG's are the second generation B16's from japan that had roughly 170hp (haven't checked that one out in a while, remembering that number from hmotorsonline.) They are both DOHC.
