stock ek running rich and bogs
i have a completely stock ek hatch with a gsr fuel pump dat i had lying around because my hatch didnt have fuel pmp when i bought it.
the problem im havig is that if the car sits with the ac on for a few minutes itslike the motor is flooded with gas it would move really slow and if i full throttle it, it bogs.
can the fuel pump be the reason its doin this? i have no cel either

Re: stock ek running rich and bogs
check fuel pressure, could be fuel pump or fuel filter
check oxygen sensor, it can still run a bit rich without throwing a cel

take out the oxygen sensor, im not sure on the color but AFAIK
grey color tip = normal operation
black means its fouled with carbon and will make car run rich
there were some other colors but i cant remember
what engine do you have so you can locate the exact position of your o2 sensor

The O2 sensor is on a couple of places #1 on the down pipe close to the headers or #2 near the down pipe closer the the cat/test pipe . If it was your O2 Sensor it'd throw a cel in a heartbeat I've had this happen to me multiple occasions. It really sounds like a fuel pump to me. I would troubleshoot at the fuel pump and work from there. Im not tryin to be a smartass but maybe the pump is just bad. you can get a walbro for like 100 plus tax. whats your engine size?
