STOCK b20vtec crvtec track times in my ek hatch
hey guys i know a lot of you were wondering what kinda times i am going to pull with the new head on... lets recap....with the old just b20 swap with b16 trans with just FPR i ran a 14.606 @ 92.307 MPH with a 2.220 60 foot. most of the time i would run a 14.7-14.8 and with these times i dynoed at 142.2 WHP and 130.9 ft. lbs of torque untuned. now for the b20vtec times.
1st run: 14.008 @ 98.79 MPH with a 2.201 60'
2nd run: 13.970 @ 99.54 MPH with a 2.190 60'
3rd run: 13.840 @ 99.78 MPH with a 2.178 60'
4th run: 13.801 @ 99.98MPH with a 2.206 60' <--i dialed in a 13.810 and broke out
heres the setup now.
2001 b20z block stock.
94 GSR head stock valvetrain and cams.
b&m FPR @ 44 psi
DENTED jdm DC 4-1 header with 2.5 collector
2.25 exhaust with cat magnaflow muffler.
stock intake just took filter off.
skunk2 intake manifold.
i am running a stock p72 ecu obd2a
bald *** bridgestone street tires on my hx wheels = no traction until 4th
this is all in a 97 cx hatch. i weighed in at 2389 with me in it. (i weigh 125 lbs)
no dyno time yet.
thats all i can think of for now.
heres whats on the way
chipped p28 ecu with jumper harness
apexi vafc
Drag radials because i dont get traction until 4th gear even on the track.
CTR intake cam. soon as sean decides to get new cams.
TUNING
thanks guys for the tech i was givin and feel free to post any comments or questions.

Re: STOCK b20vtec crvtec track times in my ek hatch (kKdARIAN)
well the b20 swap costed me 1600$ then the vtec head swap costed me around 1000$ with all the gaskets, headstuds, head itself, intake manifold, header i got for cheap thanks to sean, as well as ecu that im borrowing, so about 2600 but all in all i think anyone can do this for 3000$ keep in mind thats 3000$ with all the boltons and everything. and i did all the work myself with the help of a few friends when problems arose. thanks colin, todd, andy, jeff, matt, timmy. but all in all i love it. i used seans chipped p28 and it felt 10 times better so thats my next purchase if anyone knows someone selling one let me know.
