Default radiator problems

I was having a small leaking issue with my stock radiator so i bought a used koyo radiator from a fellow local member. The radiator worked fine on his car and he claims to have had it tested and there were no leaks so i thought i would pick it up. Well i installed it but the next day after driving it, i noticed a puddle of coolant in my garage. I checked for leaks and its not leaking from the cap or any of the hoses. I thought it might have been leaking from the drain plug but i did tighten that some more and it doesnt seem to be coming from there. It seems to drip coolant from the bottom left side(when looking from the top). Any Ideas what it can be? I dont have my a/c fan because i need a slim fan, which is on its way if that makes a difference. The car also overheats after i installed it. It drives fine but every now and then, the temp gauge goes close to H and stays but then the thermostat opens and it cools right down quick. My guess is i have air in the coolant lines. But my main concern is with the leaking. Im going to pull the radiator out and see if i can trace any dry coolant spots.

check your thermastat for the over heating problem it could be that if it stays closed it will over heat invest in a new thermastat..... as for the leaking when your take the radiator out again put the hoses in a big buket of water and if bubbles come out theres a little hole somewhere make shure thatere isnt a crack in the actual radiator from hitting a bump to hard... make shure that you lined it up correctly if its not lined up correctly you will loose anti freeze.... so check them out i hoped i helped a little bit

well i put a brand new thermostat in when i put the radiator in so that should be a problem. as for a hole in the hoses, theres nothing there either. Im thinking it might just be a leaky radiator. It doesnt have a crack in it, especially from me hitting a bump hard because i only drove the car 1 time after the radiator install and when i found out about it leaking, i just let it sit in my garage. As for the lining up of the radiator, im kind of confused whta you mean by that. Doesnt it just simply drop down into the 2 holding things on the bottom? is there more to it than that?

ok so i took the radiator fan off and i can see where its leaking. coolant is leaking from all the way on the bottom right under all the fins, and its about 2 inches wide.
