I got my b16 in the other day and the throttle is sticky...what can i use to loosen it up....wd40 type....or silicone lube? What could be sticking, the spring...or butterfly on the tb?

Re: sticky throttle (corkss)
its probably carbon build up in the throttle body..take off your intake and open the throttle and look in to see if there is carbon build up.....if so at a honda dealer we used to use carb cleaner and a 3m scuffy pad and clean it out that way

Re: sticky throttle (EJcoupeGSR)
take the throttle cable off the butterfly and rev it up. if it sticks, the throttle body needs cleaning, if not, the throttle cable is siezing, in some cases of what i've heard, almost like a welding.
