Steering wheel shakes @ highway speeds!
I just got my wheels aligned but the steering wheel still shakes when I get on the highway! What else could be causing this?? (wheel balance maybe?) My car is lowered with 17" rims

Don't look at just your wheels.
Check all your bushings....mainly the ball joints and especially the tie rod ends.

well mostly be weary of any grease leaking out.....if it is, or if it's aleady gone, you might have some bad ball joints.
Other than that, if nothing is out, just check to see if there's any cracks in the rubber etc.
Just like checking your CV boots...

It's 99% your wheel balance. The other **** could produce the same kind of conditions, but it's unlikely to be the case.

For anyone who cares the wheel balance fixed the shaking, but you all probably already knew that ^_^

I wouldn't venture to say 99% of all high speed shuddering is wheel balance related.
It's more like in the high 60's, low 70's.

yes, if the steering wheel shakes, and the brake pedal pulsates a bit. it's probably going to be warped rotors.
But again, front end suspension compenents play a pretty large role in road feel.....you'll be feeling pretty sloppy as soon as the bushings get sloppy.
