eBay intake installed, pics of what the quality is like!
Alright, I was really skeptical about buying this intake from eBay. I got it for 29.99 plus 10 shipping. I figured that you get what you pay, right? Well, I am very impressed and very pleased with this product. I compared it to my friends AEM cold air intake and the quality of the tubing was identical. Didnt feel a difference in weight or anything. ONLY thing different was the Filter. So, tryin to be a wannabe, I slapped on a new KN filter (same one AEM uses) threw away the one that came with it.
Performance was immediately noticed, NOT a huge difference, but top end got a little kick in the pants. It took my sluggish topend on my LS to a new level. I recommend for anyone on a SMALL budget like myself to look into an eBay intake.
seller name is : btnz
here are the pics that i took for you guys who like to be nosey at what other people are rocking.
Also on another key note... I used a 99-00 SI intake, didnt know if it fit, but thanks to some guys on HT it came out perfect!

okay....
the intake i bought was a CAI for a 99-00 SI. I purchased it for 29.99 + 10 for shipping. I DID NOT install an intake manifold just the INTAKE TUBE w/ FILTER.
clear? clear.

OK, I really misunderstood it before but now upon reading it, I understand.
You used the CAI MEANT for a 99-00 Si.
Got it. I'm dumb

That's awesome. I'm not an expert on intakes, but I would say that's a really good buy. It doesn't look like the intake is any different from the AEM other than cosmetic reasons. Serves the same purpose correct? Gives you nearly the same results? (probably) Can't go wrong with that. Unless the composition of the tube is **** compared to the AEM.

Nice...
What was the total cost with the K&N filter? Is it the same diameter as the AEM?
I may just have to pick one of these up myself...

Nice...
the intake cost 29 plus 10 for shipping = 40...the KN filter cost a little under 10.
