Steering Wheel Hub Question
Hi
i just got a new steering wheel (momo)
im just wondering, i didnt get a hub yet
but if i decided to get the quick release hub,
is that all i'd need? or does the quick release mechanism goes onto of a hub that fits the wheel?
thanks

Re: Steering Wheel Hub Question (Mistermark)
If my understanding is correct you would have to pick up a momo style hub and then the quick release attaches to that rather than directly to your car.
This is how I have seen it. Not sure if that is the standard, but I have seen it done this way.
Just my .02. Correct me if I am wrong guys!

Re: Steering Wheel Hub Question (Mistermark)

Don't get MOMO hub if your gonna do quick release. Get a short hub. The position will be like or near stock.
I recommand Splash short hub, but it's pricey. Also NRG just release their new short hub, more affordable.

Re: Steering Wheel Hub Question (Mistermark)
Here are some details and pics of my setup:
Hub = some no name vietnamese aluminum hub from Narspec.
Quick release = Signal Auto quick release (here's the link to a website that sells them for around $280: http://www.evasivemotorsports....IGNAL)
I forgot to mention that I bought the quick release on here from Jackson and this setup is on my 1992-1995 EG hatchie.

hope this helps out
