Default STEEL BRAIDED BRAKE LINES: surfing the group buy... which ones?

there are like...2 or 3 different companies manufacturing brake lines. anyone prefer one over the other or noticed any significant differences? supposedly the goodridge g-stops are "dot approved". DOT APPROVED? how would one be in violation in construction of the brakelines? anyways...

I got the Goodridge from gbc, it took over 3 months to get them from import replacement parts

I do like them tho, I needed em when I did the rear disc conversion so now I have bling bling brake lines. After bleeding them pedal fell does feel improved.

i was part of that groupbuy too. did yours come COD originally and you had to refuse them and have them ship them back to you? mine ended up like that, they took forever to get back.

No never had to go through any of that ****. He said that Goodridge manufactured the brake lines on order, so it could take anywhere from 3-6 weeks turnaround, which turned into about 3 months. I hassled them every week on when the hell my stuff was coming, and finally told him to give me my money back if they cant be here by the following weekend, and the next email I got was saying that they just got them in and were shipping them out....didnt really leave me with a good feeling from gbc...
