Default starting problems

i searched but got mixed results on this. when i try to start my car, I hear one click and nothing after a few trys it'll start, or sometimes start instantly with no problems. At first i thought it was starter so i got one off my friend but after reading, half the people are saying that its reallysome kind of relay under the dash. ignition switch? yet others say its the solinoid on the starter goin bad or has bad connections. which is right here before i install the new starter. I can still return it if i dont instal yet.

Your friends are wrong. If the relay is bad you'd still be able to crank the engine. Also if you can hear the fuel prime (like a hum from the back seat) your relay and fuel pump are still good.

It sounds like a starter problem to me. My friend's car is doing the same exact thing right now. Still hasn't changed it though

Do all your lights still light up? radio works? (that will cancel out dead battery too)

yes i hear the prime, and one click from what i'm guessing is the relay. It'll startafter a few on start trys, and sometimes right away. Seems like a solinoid problem really, bad connections? and every work fine, HID's still as blinding as they always been.
