Default LS ENGINE PROBLEMS...need help asap

i got a stock 93 teg..... my car will idle and drive fine for around a half hour...then after the car warms up for a lil itll bogg and hick-up in any gear but ussually when i shift into like 3rd it happens...this forces the rpms down and even when i slamm the gas to the floor the rpms dont go up and the car just gets slower and slower till it stalls........now i replaced the gas filter...and spark plugs which showed very positive results for about 15 mins...then the same problem occured...i took off my backseats to check the gas tank out and when i open the sensor capsule there was rust colored stuff all lined in the tank...now im pretty sure its rust, but i alsoknow that the car was sitting for 2 years so it could eather be rust from condesation, or sand from the gas sitting there so long...do you guys thinks its rust or sand? im ******* confused and need to get my car back on the road...i need it!

The car was sitting for 2 years? Drain the tank and put some fresh gas in and try that first.

When gasoline sits for a long time it turns into varnish... definitely drain your tank

And get a new fuel filter...Can never be too safe.. I would suggest just get one of those 3 stage cleaner systems, that cleans the injectors the Throttle body and its a fuel treatment...just my .02

so i drained my tank for the 2nd time...this time putting octane booster as well as a fuel system cleaner and filled the tank up with 93 instead of 87....i started up the car late at night when i finished and let it idle for around 2 hours...reving it every 10 or so minutes.....in the morning i drove it from 9 till 5 at night....0 problems..and i was happy....luckily as i was going up my driveway it started loosing power and stalled again....now i had to ride the clutch to get it up my driveway and it kept stalling and not gaining any rpms like before....then the ext morning i tried starting it again and itll start and stall right away....im thinking a piece of depree or someshit from my tank got lodged in an injector? im not sure and im about to buy a new engine...i just got the money...someone please help me before i go waste my money...should i phsically scrub the tank out...it still had a layer of depree/rust or varnish or sand im not sure what it is THANX
