Default st rear swaybar install???

i found the overboost webpage of installing a st rear sway onto an ek. but my question is about the drilling part. mine is a 96 ex which has the two oem mounting points. am i suppose to use one of these and then drill out just one per side or am i suppose to drill two new points on each side of the subframe? please help me out. thanks.

well if your car has the mounting point on the LCA then use those, and as far as drilling into your sub fram i have never heard of haveing to do that. but i have heard of drill into your LCA for mounting points, but if yours has it why bother

well i looked at the st instructions and they show a pic of two new holes into the subframe. but when i look at the installation guide on overboost.com it shows that they were using upper mounting point and drilled just one hole on an ek. anybody else?

yeah i've drilled through my subframe, you're gonna have to drill under the lower hole in you subframe. be careful. it's kind of a bitch to do. get your swaybar mounting brackets and get the top part screwed in and lined up. That way you know where you're supposed to drill

Yes you do, if you are going to use the FACTORY TOP HOLE and a drilled 2nd hole. However, I think if you are going to drill two new holes for the mounting plate to be installed, you don't have to grind it down.

IM me if you have any questions
