SPRING/SHOCK SETUPS??
Hey people! Could everyone let me know what setups you're runnin' in the suspension dept.?? I'm thinking of either Koni Reds or Yellows with Neuspeed Race springs. Need some good opinions!!!!

I have some cheesy OBX coilovers w/ kyb agx to make them feel better
it works ok, I'd recommend the shocks, not the springs.

Re: SPRING/SHOCK SETUPS?? (DragIIcivic)
currently im running H&R race springs with KYB AGX shocks. handles hella good but the ride is a lil stiff even on the softest setting. but if i could do my suspension over again, id get some full coilover system like tein or h&r. dont go cheap on the suspension mods!!

Koni yellows w/ Neuspeed sofsports (same spring rate as the sports, not as big of a drop).
Setup kicks ***. It's a bit on the stiff side, but very liveable for daily driving.

Integra Pro-Kit on Koni Yellows. I went with the Integra version on my Civic because I wanted the added handling ability for auto-x, but I live in MI so I wanted to keep the drop to around 1.5" so I am not a snow plow.

If you can fork out a bit more, consider Tein NA spring/shock combo. 4-way height adjustable via perches, and 16-way dampening adjustments.
rodney: How do you like the RG setup? JTC N1 I assume? I'm sure it's great for track, but what about daily driving?

Koni yellow/H&R race, the ride is a bit stiff and it sucks hitting bumps (this is with the shocks on softest setting too), the handling is worth it though. Sorta wish I had gone with H&R sport.

Re: SPRING/SHOCK SETUPS?? (93LSivic)
i'm running koni yellows and nuespeed race. the ride is actually pretty soft compared to other setups and it still handles good. i have the spring perch on the bottom setting and its flipped upside down. my car sits at a good level, just high enough to get over all speed bumps and driveways ands its tuckin a little tire too.
on my other car i have tokico blues and maxspeeds, i don't recommend that setup for driveability but it was cheap and its dumped

jstock, the setup you are considdering is very good. I would recommend the Yellows over the Reds if you can afford them. The Neuspeed Race springs are good if you want about 2.25" drop. Otherwise, look at the Neuspeed sports. If you want some SERIOUS suspension stuff, look at the Neuspeed Coilovers ($800 straight from Neuspeed). I have heard nothing but good things about the Neuspeed Coilovers.

Re: SPRING/SHOCK SETUPS?? (jstock107)
I have the Zeal Super Functions and they work pretty good for me on the track. I think it's a bit too hardcore. I will suggest the Zeal B , B2 or B6 which are way more streetable.
The Zeal B /B2's are billet machined chromoly steel body B2 features 6way adjustable and they all come with aluminum uppermount and short stroke too.
Koni's made good shock but there are always something better . Look around for some TRUE coil-over suspensions , they are specifially deign for performance more then just having shock & springs.

Re: SPRING/SHOCK SETUPS?? (AJ PwR)
THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE INPUT!!!!
Squirrlemasta: So glad to get some feedback on someone who's running the same setup that I may consider. My friend has the Neuspeed Race springs on his HX and the drop is perfect!! I'm glad to here the Koni Yellow's provide good dampening as well. Thanks!!

Re: SPRING/SHOCK SETUPS??
I have some Eibach Sportlines and KYB AGXs... and i agree what the other guys said, the rides still kinda stiff on the softest setting. makes me wonder what it would have been like on illuminas. I still think it was a good value though.
