Spring Pin Help
I am trying to put my shift extension back on and i have the old spring pin. Can i just reuse it or do i have to go to get a new one? And if i do where do I get one at? When I Get one how easy is it to reinstall it.

Honda reccomends replacing it - it's only a few bucks, might as well, especially if you had the original one on there. But it probably won't make a difference if you reuse it.
Its about as easy to get on as it is to get off. I'd reccomend using a c-clamp to help get it in - tighten the clamp around the pin, hit the clamp with a hammer, retighten, repeat. Worked better than just a hammer for me. Just make sure its a cheap clamp that you'll never need again. Harbor Frieght FTW!

Yeah, that's why I replaced mine when I swapped trans's.
I really have no clue why so many people have a problem with this thing .

If you put the same pin in the same linkage, it's going to be the same as it was before you replaced anything If you install a new spring pin - one that hasn't been compressed by thousands of miles of driving - it'll probably tighten up the shifter a bit and keep it from wobbling around as much when in gear.
