how much can you lower an ej1 w/ 17x7 wheels?

I just got a 94' ex for my new DD and it came with some 17x7 icw wheels. I was going to get rid of them but have decided to keep them. It looks like there is about a 2" wheel gap; but it looks like the wheel wells will set on top of the tire.

p.s I just found out the rims are icw 005s.

17x7 w a +45mm offset

ive been looking at the tokico hp shock+1.0" lowering spring combo.
