spring install

0epending on the tools you have and the condition of your vehicle... Lets say your vehicle is in good shape (meaning no rusted bolts) Since it is your first time it will probably take you around 4 hours.. After you have done it a million times it takes roughly 45 minutes if everything goes as planned.

You'll need a spring compressor. Just rent one from Autozone. Other than that you just need some jackstands, a decent wrench set, a decent socket wrench set, and maybe a hammer for the rusty bolts. It will take you a few hours but once you've done one spring and shock the rest are a cinch.

Make sure you cut both bumpstop's and dustboot covers if you are dropping more than an 1.5 in. Correct your camber as well and get an alignment if you value your tires. Good luck bro.

Re: spring install (binkster)
It is very easily a DIY project, however its always easier and more enjoyable if you get your buddies to help. For the times ive installed springs and shocks ive never used a compressor because i was too lazy to go out and borrow one. Just be careful if you decide to just throw a towel around the spring, THAT **** HURTS!
