They are great mufflers. My friend has it on his hatch. He's never gotten a ticket for it and in my opinion unless you go over 8,000 rpm it's fairly quiet.

My friends hatch has a really nice N/A CTR engine that thing goes to 12,000 RPM. That gets really reallly loud. I wish I could get a sound clip of it but its getting fixed because he spun a bent a valve when he over revved it. < funny story about that. It sure takes skill to over rev an engine built for 12k rpm.

12k sounds like over-revving enough.. my crower valvetrain (and i know skunk2 is the same) is "garenteed" for 11k
what kind of crank/rod bearings is he running?
