The Spoon twin-block caliper was originally designed for the larger front rotor of the DC2R (98 spec) and EK9. For EG, EK, and DC2 cars, the front rotor most be replaced. To help maintain proper front/rear brake bias distribution, the size of the rear calipers and rotors should be increased. Longer hub bolts and spacers will also be required. Clearance depends on the type of wheel, offset, and chassis. Please contact us for details.

I'd be wary about caliper rebuilds and parts availability...

They will bolt onto any ABS spindle or Teg/Del Sol VTEC or 99-00 Si knuckle.

All you need is ITR or Prelude VTEC, the latter recommended, redrilled to 4x100, a couple spapcers, and you're money!

Right...because these are Spoon calipers, they'll never require a rebuild down the road? Guess I should have gone ahead then and put the used set I purchased on my car even though one had a seal leak. Must have been all in my head right?

I was referring to Chad's comment above. I took it to mean he disagreed with what I posted earlier. Basically all I'm saying is it was a pain in the *** trying to find a rebuild kit for the Spoon calipers I had. While a new set might last quite some time, eventually it's going to need a rebuild and that, from my experience, is a pain in the ***.

Could have sworn I called just about every vendor on this site. Well live and learn I suppose. Would have been great to have found this out last year.
