speedometer light not working.
hey guys, so last night when i was leaving work i cranked my car and turned on my lights. everything came on except for my speedo light, and for some reason smoke started coming out of my a/c vent beside my driver door. i've checked the fuses today, and as far as i can tell none of them are blown. does anyone else have an idea as to what might have gone out? i havent checked the light yet, but i really don't think it was that.

im starting to think now that it may be the dimmer light switch, but im still up for suggestions. come on guys, i need to get this fixed in the next few days lol.

Check the fuses, if that looks good you can jump the red and black wires the go to the switch with a paper clip and if they come on the switch is dead.

yeah i took my car to my friends house, he's got a 99' coupe just like mine. we switched out his dimmer switch for mine and it worked again so im off to autozone to buy a new one lol.
