Default speedo sticks

My speedo sticks here and there. I'll look down and it will say im going 30, i'll tap the top of the dash, and it will pop back to 45, the speed im actually going.

I do have white faced gauges on my car. Do you think the needleis gettign stuck or the throttle cable needs replacing

Yes your white face guages are making it stick, we fix or repair at least a few a week. Get it fixed soon or your speedo will be a $250 paper weight, not to mention what other guages my be affected.

What year is your car, if its an EG, shouldn't have a cable

No cable? So the throttle body magically opens? If I am wrong please inform me.

pre 92 civics had a speedo cable. the 92+ ones have an electronic speed sensor.

all of them have a throttle cable, but that is completely different

i had to put some VERY THIN double sided tape by the center of the gauge face to keep it from interfering with the needle movement
