the sprint seats are nice. take a look at the momo rookie, it's awesome! retail i think it's $50 more than the sprint.

I like the Sparco torinos...but they are kinda expensive...I sell them for 625.00 + 140.00 for the bracket + shipping...it adds up quick.

I also have the sparco sprints, not the most comfortable when you first sit in them, but you get used to it pretty quick, not as bad as some people make it out to be...but if you are a comfort ***** i dont recommend them

Which are wider/bigger?
Between the Sparco Sprints, Speed, and Momo Rookie, which seat is the widest? I'm a bigger guy (6'3" 230lbs) and I've sat in the Sprint seats.... needless to say, they were extremely tight and hard to get in & out of. For my smaller friend, he had no problem jumping in & out of the seat. Obviously the reclining seats are wider and I fit in those better, but I'm looking for a single race bucket for my track car that's cheaper than a reclinable chair, but still comfortable enough that it won't kill me getting in & out of.

IM using the speeds. I love them. Look great. You sit fairly low. but there real comfy. Im not one of those guys that likes lounging and reclining, so they work great.

I sat in some Speeds at an Auto-X event over hte weekend and they were almost too small for me (6', 200lbs), I fit but it was tight and would most likley be uncomfortable after a while...

mmm sparco....... oh yes the fixed racing seats rule, snug is so small a word to describe how much more you are connected to your car, and how much more feedback you can get from the suspension and steering. I got Sparco Ultras in my 92 cx (see pic below), I am 5'7" and rockin' 190 lbs. its a snug fit but it is most dependent on pelvis bone than waistline from chunk. OMP has a nice line of seats in different widths too and they are nice people to talk to customer support wise.

how come the brackets are so expensive? I can get the seat for about 220 brand new.but the brackets are gonna be the ones that kill me....are there any other brackets that will work with the Speed/sprint (s)?

Re: Sparco Sprint Seats (EJ_ALbeRT)
I used to have a set of Sparco Sprints in my CRX, got em for 195 each from a local shop (Group 5 San Diego, thanks for the hook J-Rod!) about 3 years ago. I loved them, but honestly, they were kinda hard to get in and out of, but you get used to it. Passengers were always complaining, not that I cared too much. I purchased the Sparco sliders, and had a friend that works on dunebuggy frames weld me a set of brackets. They looked just like the Sparco ones, but they were double bolted front and back, so they were extra secure. Later I sold those, and just used a single Sparco Road, which actually felt a little wider on the sides, and it had fake leather accents on the high wear areas. I miss it so much that I'm saving up for a single Sparco Evo or Rev for my hatch.

Re: Sparco Sprint Seats (rodrez)
yeah....I'm only going to get one seat because my girlfriend sits in my car EVERYDAY..and she likes to recline a lot..and I dont want her to go through the pain of being in a seat...I'm a Straight-up-sitter so I dont mind the seats being upright..but my girl will probably complain.....and its best to use 200 from another seat towards something else..
