What are you bleeding?

Im going to assume a master cylinder. If so hook hoses up to the ports where your steal lines would normally go into then loop them back into your reservoir, Now fill up the reservoir with fluid. pump it up until no more bubbles come out.

I hate to rain on the parade, but you're supposed to bench bleed any kind of cylinder before you hook it up to the car. Most MCs come with plugs to put in the brakeline-out ports that you use.

When I do musclecars, this is what I do:

1.) use supplied plugs to seal off the brakeline-out holes.
2.) fill reservoir with brake fluid.
3.) using the handle of a screwdriver (or something equally solid), actuate the piston several times until you get some real resistance. It might be easier to get a friend to hold the cylinder while you pump.
4.) install.

A friend is always better to help with. If you can't located a friend and spend some $. You can go to Autozone where they have a bleeder kit.
