somebody with 96-98 civic ex.......can you check....
against the firewall on the driver side, in the corner, is little black apparatus. There are two tubes coming from it. One goes to the cruise control, and the other goes where? Mine is disconected and I dont see where it goes. Thanks

the tube facing towards the front goes to the cruise control, the one facing the passenger side goes to the intake manifold. the hole on the im should be closer to the driver's side.

Their is a tube from the passenger side that is the ac dump tube. Its if there is too much condensation it starts to over flow right out that tube.

he's not talking about that. he's talking about the cylinder thingy in the driver's and firewall corner.

In that case he's talking about the brake booster, and yes it goes to the back of the intake manifold. I would suspect that if that hose was off, it would idle like crap and brakeing would be hard.

ya, i think that's what he's talking about. yes, it makes the engine run like ****, not just at idle, though it does **** the idle up. i didn't know it had anything to do with the brakes though? what does it do?
