They are cheap because not as many people swap them into Preludes and Accords as Civic and Integra onwers swap the B-series in their cars. And the fact that people who buy them for Civic/Integra swaps have to spend more $ on extra things to get the swap in. H22's are not all that much heavier than the B-series, read the thread man. I won't bother getting into the ITR vs H22a "eg" thing because it's been talked about before, but you should look for that info a little more.

Re: Some pics of my 92 Hatch W/ JDM H22 (TheGeneral)
cmon people dont get started on the weight differences. it is only like 30-50lbs if i remeber correctly, but thats nothing.
then dont get into the differences in price between an b-series ITR vs h22 because the money you save from the h22 swap will be put into parts that will let it compete with the b18c.
anyways nice car, how about a whole motor shot.

listen man, Im currently running a k-swap and I pulled out a b18c-r motor out to accomodate the new engine.
With that said the h22 is a fine motor and has awesome potential. Ive never seen one run well at say autox but Ive only seen about 3 h swaps run an autox.
Great looking car, nice swap.

Locked, and you are a ******* moron. Learn to spell. Also, if you read through the FAQ thread, a H22 swap isn't that much heavier than a B swap. The H22s weakness comes in it's transmission.
