solid check engine light

Default solid check engine light

what does it mean? my car doesnt start and i just did a DPFI obd0 to MPFI obd1, it cranks and fuel but no sparks

Im not sure on hondas.... havent fiddled with my motor too much yet.... but i just worked on a buddies car, and the CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR was unplugged/bad, so check that cuz i had NO power to the coil from the ECU.... and NO power at the fuel pump plug.... so check that.... hope i helped

so that would cause my car not to spark and start? (the sensor)
i read the code and it gave me 10 short blinks and pause and 10 and etc

the crank position sensor controls the spark i guess.... so yea that would cause it to not start if this works

look at the ecu sticky on the top of the forum on how to check your codes and then count the blinks and tell us EXACTLY what is.

that would cause it not to spark? are you sure?
cause i dont have one yet I was gunna jack it off my bros mani but i was waiting until it started first

the crankshaft position sensor would cause the ECU to not send power to the coil, which in return would not make spark... there for, thats your problem with the no spark.... check to see if its plugged in, and if its plugged in, then try a different one..... hopefully i have been of some help

check your ecu fuse...i had the same problem...and i found out that the ecu fuse was burnt...
