if the 02 sensor is bad what will happen or what will the engine do. thanks

 

It will run poorly and get worse fuel mileage. If it's bad enough, you may get a check engine light.

 

thanks alot, thats wat i notice i get a check engine light and the fuel mileage is cut in half. all i smell is fuel when i am driving, so strong i have to drive with the windows open,....hopefully its the 02 sensor.

 

Have you checked the codes for the check engine light?

its a 93 hatch with a b16a2 motor.

 

check the code like this, there is a jumper harness under the glove box, connect the two pin harness together, and read how many flashes the check light flashes
