Default Solid CEL

ok so long story short... i have a cel on, i have tryed jumping the plug and pulling the codes... haha not so fast... i jump it and the cel light just stays on like i didnt even jump it.... car runs vtec opens seems to be ok but i can feel a power loss... please help me.... its a 92 civic 4 door ex... D16Z6 p28 computer...

i dont have another ecu to try. like i said the car runs vtec still engauges seems fine but if the lights on theres a problem... if it was the ecu it wouldnt run...

not necessarily, if you jump it and the CEL stays constantly lit with no blinks im almost positive that is the ECU code, which is why he suggested trying another ECU, it helps to have buddies with the same car you can always borrow their computer for a minute just to make sure haha

i though solid cel's were cause by something not being plugged in...but if you could try another ecu just to double check

well the fan was the cause of the start of all this the wires got hot and melted for sum reason so i pulled the relay for it and cut the burnt part of the harness out (just for the fan) but the light wasnt on after all that happned i drove it to work (like 5mins away) and on the way home boom theres the light. so i put a aftermarket fan in... butwould the fan plug being cut out trip the light? and if so shouldnt it be a code?
