don't forget to get obd2A-obd1. or you can get a po6 chipped with vtec. sometimes you can get them dirt cheap, and pay a tuner 50 bucks to convert it to vtec. better than paying top dollar for an actual p28. know what i mean?

Re: sohc vtec ecu??
yes, once you remove your sohc head, towards the back between the 2 and 3 cylinders there is an oil jet that needs to be removed. just take a small screw and screw it in a little and pull it out.
got a question...what's the difference between obd2, obd2a and obd2b? if its definetly obd2a-obd1, i might have the jumper harness laying around. i will check and let you know.

Re: sohc vtec ecu??
^^he is right. when u do the SOHC VTEC head on a NON VTEC block, you must remove an oil jet. research more on your swap and u willfind out. but as for the ECU, you can also use a P2P ECU from a 96-98 civic EX. it is obd2A so u dont need to use a jumper harness or anything.
@accord2civic2prelude: there is only OBD2A and OBD2B. for civics, OBD2A ends in 1998 and OBD2B begins in 1999. They are different and so are the ECU's.
