Default Soft spring rates with 22mm rear sway bar?

I currently have Tein RA's with 14kg/mm springs in the rear and a 22mm ITR rear sway with the Beak's subframe reinforcement kit. I will be putting stock 2000 Civic Si dampers and springs on a couple times a year for comfort reasons and i am wondering if i should be worrying about tearing out my subframe with the softer springs, because that would really suck. Thanks in advance.

Greg

If you have a reinforcement kit then you don't have anyhting to worry about.

is the reinforcement kit THAT good that you would have nothing to worry about?? I run some fairly soft spring rates (H&R OEsport) and have been contemplating getting the beaks kit with ITR bar.. but still not convinced that it's enough ...

sil,

search, and you'll find lots of threads stating an overabundance of satisfaction from the itr sway and beaks and bsq kits. Some state that they have been driving really hard with the kit and no damage resulting. I'm doing pretty soon. I just searched yesterday for like two hours on the subject.

The Beaks kit is great, and why would soft spring rates have anything to do with sumframe tearout? If anything, hard spring rates would effect it more, and if no one is having tear out on hard springs with reinforcement kits, then I believe you are in the clear.

yes, i've read a lot of good testament.. but i was mostly trying to find some bad testament.... my spring rate is relatively soft and i'm not if i'll still have problems..

first think about what springs do and then combine that with what a sway bar (or anti-sway bar) is supposed to do.. you'll realize what will happen with softer springs
