Are you sure there isn't tension on the throttle cable? Are you talking about the map sensor? (directly above the throttle body)

Thermostat would be where i would start for the over heating problem. Thats probably what it is.

make sure your plugs are all hooked to the correct sensors. if i remember right the map, IACV both use a 3 pin connector sounds like you might have them switched. this could also be causing your overheating. also make sure you have bleed the coolant. loosen the bleeder screw on the top coolant outlet on the head. the one the upper radiator hose is attrached to. do this when its cold or you will get sprayed.

definatly sounds like you have a harness pluged into the wronge sensor. check your other sensors aswell. good luck

It's not the thermo. Are you running the right ECU?

the iacv is only three wire on an automatic, but u might have the map sensor plug and the throttle position sensor plugs backwards. try switching them, see if that fixes the idle.

I found the problem!!
i went to the local autozone and bought a bottle of brake cleaner
opened my hood and sprayed around were the tb and the manifold meet
and i found a big air leak, took off the tb and saw that the gasket was all messed
up so i put in the order from acura for the gasket
i will let everyone know by tomorrow

THANKS EVERYONE!!
