So i finished my swap but ran into this......
ok i have a 92 hb vx and i dropped my b16 to put my gsr
put now it idles really high when i plug in the sensor on top
of the trhottle body(idk what its called) it goes up to 3k and stays like that
once i disconect it it goes to 2k...so i sont know what to do
also it keeps on overheating my buddy said that it might be the thermostat not opening???
any help would gladly be appreciated

Are you sure there isn't tension on the throttle cable? Are you talking about the map sensor? (directly above the throttle body)

no the accelerator cable is fine i adjusted it and its not opening the plate
yeah the sensor right on top of the gsr tb

make sure your plugs are all hooked to the correct sensors. if i remember right the map, IACV both use a 3 pin connector sounds like you might have them switched. this could also be causing your overheating. also make sure you have bleed the coolant. loosen the bleeder screw on the top coolant outlet on the head. the one the upper radiator hose is attrached to. do this when its cold or you will get sprayed.
definatly sounds like you have a harness pluged into the wronge sensor. check your other sensors aswell. good luck

my friend told me the same thing to make sure i didnt switch the connectors since they are both the same
i just started changing my thermostat

it was the thermo, changed and bled it now it hasnt over heated, yeah im running a p72

the iacv is only three wire on an automatic, but u might have the map sensor plug and the throttle position sensor plugs backwards. try switching them, see if that fixes the idle.

I found the problem!!
i went to the local autozone and bought a bottle of brake cleaner
opened my hood and sprayed around were the tb and the manifold meet
and i found a big air leak, took off the tb and saw that the gasket was all messed
up so i put in the order from acura for the gasket
i will let everyone know by tomorrow
