Yes, as far as I know. Oh, and the shifter will be heavy since it is steel not aluminum like the eBay SS.

The Skunk2 **** weighs 400g, which (for me at least) made shifting alot easier cause of the extra weight...

Unless the guy is giving it to you for free, I really wouldn't even mess with it. I only paid somewhere between $50 and $60 for mine from summitracing.com You might even be able to find it for cheaper now. I would just get it brand new and then you know its the real deal

Both Skunk2 I've had have been a dark goldish, platinum color and heavy. If it not heavy stay away from it. It's the weight that makes it so good.
Do yourself a favor and buy the real thing from a repeatable dealer. If it sounds to good to be true, it normally is...
There guy's on this forum you can buy it from. Support your fellow H-T'ers

Here's an unmolested posting of mine from June 2002 with a pic (how they used to look)...
Kind of a "dark goldish, platinum color" like 1992Si said - and they had a sticker back then - not a cast/engraved/laser-etched logo.

Hope that helps ya!

After having shifted other STS both my son and I say glad we went with the Skunk2. once you have one, a real Skunk2 shifter in your car, all the others just suck.
Yes I know there is one better shifter but that one comes from a buddy in Texas and is more costly then any sane DD needs.

OMG!!! Looking at my old post - and reading yours - brought C's to mind. I totally forgot about Comrade C's Short Shifters!
Anybody remember those things?!?!?

Dude, in the 'golden days' of the Honda CiViC you weren't **** if you didn't own one!
LoL! I used to be the world's biggest cheerleader for Skunk2 shifters!!! Everyone thought I was crazy for pimping them.
"WTF? Get a heavy old steel shifter with an even heavier weighted shift ****??? Forget about it!!!", was the usual response...
I guess they're still making Comrade shifters! I'm gonna have to look into getting one, just to be different (now)...

I had the car for about 10 years before I put the shifter in. I told Ryan, I wish I would have done that years ago. It was that good.
When I put the rear lower tie bar on and backed it out of the driveway. Put the car in 1st, let the clutch out, at abut 15mph, moved the steering wheel from side to side.
I pulled in the neighbors driveway turned around went back to get Ryan who was mowing the lawn. Told him to get in the passenger seat, (he was only 15y/o) I told him you have to feel this. The back of the car felt like it was on magnetic rails sucking it to the pavement.
Yea, I'm pretty impressed with skunk2's products. OP make sure it's a skunk2 or walk away.
