Default Skunk2 intake manifold going in my eg6 with a 2000 gsr...need advice

now the problem is not the installation i jus want opionions from ppl that have actually installed it.....

now i am hearing it is good to go with the type r throttle cable and the type r pulley the cable rides on...is this true? will i need anything else..? does the pulley jus bolt up easily? will i also need the throttle cable bracket that holds in place on the manifold?

thx need experinced guys who have done this themselves... thx guys

you can reuse ur gsr bracket and throttle cable, it will work, however, i used to use a gsr bracket and throttle cable and it works fine, but u won't be able to put a strut bar on though. now i'm using a custom bracket with my single cam si throttle cable and works good. you can go ahead and use a b16 throttle bracket as well. if u can't find type r, just try to find a bracket and cable that will work together as a set and you should be fine. however, the type r does work good because the skunk2 manifold is just a replica of the type r. your also gonna have to zip tie ur evap control soloneiod sensor or make a custom bracket for it.
