Default Skunk2 cat to short

I bought a skunk2 cat, went to put it on and the second pipe or the s shaped one is to sort about 3 inches to short will not hook up with the 1 st pipe coming off the cat. I called the company I bought it from and they told me that they sent me out the right one . Then asked if I had a swap in it . I have a ls/vetec 2000Si head and 94-95 teg bottom. I bought the cat for a 93 honda civic cx hatch. Would this make a diffrence if it fits or not. Just would like to know and get my story straight before I email him back.

Thanks

That's the problem right there. Usually when you swap to a B-series engine, the length from the lower exhaust manifold to cat is short about 3-4 inches. I recommend extending the cat 3-4 inches at a muffler shop.

Do you mean have the muffler shop make me a 3 inch extension to fill up the gap?
also the hangers are not lining up or do I just hang them where they are?
So that extension where would it go from the cat to the exhaust ?

You answered you own question right there.

BTW run a extension from the front of the cat to the exhaust manifold.
