Skunk2 Camber Arms Squeeking??
I have just bought some new Skunk 2 pro series camber kit. I ahve installed them and had the camber and tracking professionally adjusted.
The problem is the camber arm bushings are squeeking really badly whenever the car goes over a bump.
I have had a look and it defienatly appears to be the camber arm bushings that came with the kit.
I have tried spraying some silicone and rubberlube on the bushings. This actully helped and stopped the squeeking but only lasted for about 4 miles then was back to its squeeky self
Can anyone give me some advice as to what to do to resolve this?
any help would be most appreciated

are you talking about the front camber kit? because mine didn't come with bushings. I used the original Civic bushings and sprayed them down pretty good with WD-40 and they don't squeak for me.

I have just had an e-mail back from skunk2 and this is what they said:
The reason why those are sqeaking, is that the joint were pre loaded upon
installation. All the suspenstion must be put into full travel or normal range,
and then you can tighten the joints and other connections. if you tighten the
entire assembly while the car is jacked up, it will put EXTREMELY harsh loads in
the entire assembly, causing the squeaking noise that you are describing.
But how the hell can you get a wrngch and a spanner in to toghten them when the car is back on dry land?

how does that work?
How do you tighten the suspension when the car is on the ground [with wheels on]?
And do they mean just tighten the UCA where it attaches to the shock tower or where it attaches to the upper ball joint??

Re:
which car are we talking about? and EG? EM? EP? im about to install my skunk2 kit this weekend, and perhaps i should lube up the bushing with grease before installing? then again, i have an EM, which the center of the bushing has a metal insert which i cant imagine would squeak....
