Default Single v or ls???

Wats up guys?

i have a 95 del sol its the s model all stock..motor has about 123k on it runs good but ithink it starting to knock a little. so i was thinking to just drop in a single vtec or i was thinking ls... im kinda leaning towards single cuz ithink it would suit me better im not looking to be fast but just able to have a little fun. the single basically ithink is cheaper and ithink i can use my tranny not sure tho?(help).
then i would just swap my comp and all should be okay im thinking id still be under about 500 or so. with an ls im looking at least a grand or more so what you guys think? i just want to do the motor im goin to drop it and call it a day maybe a lip kit so what u guys think?

SOHC is cheaper and you can use to tranny, LS is more expensive and you cant use the tranny you have. You can find LS's all over the place for cheap like the guy above said but you dont know mileage etc. If you order off HMO, the single cam will be much cheaper and ideal for price and if you arnt looking for big numbers.
