single cam vtec intake manifold on single cam non vtec??
zup ,,i just baught a 98 ek hatch ,,is a single cam non vtec but a friend of mine has a skunk 2 intake manifold for sale on a single cam vtec ... does it fit on my Y7 or is not recomended???

people have put y8 intakes on y7's. BUT, your stock ecu has a 3 wire iac, so using an auto y8 intake which has a 3 wire iac would be the correct way to do it.

Ya it should fit. I believe all D-series Intake Manifolds are interchangeable.
