Default Since im taking off my cylinder head cover..

do I buy a new gasket for the cylinder head cover too?

You shouldnt have to unless the old one is tore up or in bad shape. But if its been loooong time since it was last replaced it might be good piece of mind to just do it anyway

im assuming you mean valve cover....

it hasn't been replaced at all, so i'll just change it anyway. and i probably do mean valve cover, im new to being in the car game.. so im get mixed up on names ;]
