i just installed some jdm side markers onto my ej6. they are wired up properly. but now my tails dont light up at all when my headlights are on. however the brake lights do work. any ideas on fixing this?

Have you checked the fuses?

yes. and if i unhook the wiring for the markers the tails work properly.

maybe spliced them into the wrong wire... hooked them up to turn signals right?

yes i hooked em into the turn signals. i spliced em right athe the turn signal bulb. thats the correct way to do it right?

the turn signal has 3 wires. a red gree and a ground. when i spliced it to the red nothing happened. but when i wired it to the green the signal workd properly. just now the tails dont.

sory for my lameness but are your brake and taillights the same bulb? and are your tailights the only ones out? ie headlamps blah blah... wierd that your turn sigs have 3 wires... mine only have 2... infact ill go chack on colors for yah and come back with a pic.

ok im retarded i got 3 just been ahwile since i installed it so yah heres the pic use the green one and the red one not the black one

ok that might be why. im using the green and the black. ill give it a try.

U might want to check if the sidemarkers and the wire u tapped in use the same voltage/resistance??? just a guess
