Ok i purchased some si seats today. Im swapping them in but cant get a hole aligned. IS this normal? I tought these were a straight swap in. Any help is appreciated since my car is torn up right now as i type.

Did you purchase EM1 (99-00 civic si) seats? They are the same as regular civic seats, just a different seat cover pattern. They bolt in the same.

Personally, i don't like them, they were the 1st thing to go out of my car in favor of integra seats.

nopoe wont bolt right in youll have to modify the seat rails i think only 3 holes line up

Ok.....so who is wrong here? I can get all 4 to bolt up. I tought they were straight plug and play. I picked them up for 90bux. Clean *** hell. But i was wondering about them 4 holes lining up.

And yes the 99-00 si seats

OP, they seats need the inner rails swapped, should take a whole 15 mins.

99-00 si seats are not the same as ex eg ones. As far as comfort and pattern. Plus mines were tearing apart. But i cant get it in.

Edited....sorry, you have an EG, the EG seats are better than all EK seats! And yes, you have to swap the inner rails to fit!!

I sold my EM1 seats for $100, then found a mint set of 2000 Integra LS seats for $100....seating comfort and performance was enhanced night and day!!!!

Pics were needed to determine which (si) seats you were talking about since you didnt say initially

99-00 si seats bolt in to 96-00 civics
If you want them in your eg you have to swap seat rails like someone else said

I would recommend selling/trading for some integra seatd....those ARE 100% bolt in for u

Nah.....took me a long as while to find these si seats for cheap. Correct me if im wrong but if i switch rails i wont be able to adjust the driver seat no more. Correct? And is there any safety issue with just running with 3 bolts? I already swapped them in. And love them. But im concerned as wether its worth it to swap the rails. Or just ride like that and if i ever do get bored of them...sell them and get teg seats. They beat meto the teg seats. They were 60 but some guy picked up before me so i got the si's off the guy.

Eg seats suck as HELL. They are true POS's. I started having back problems ever since i bought my 95 civic. Never had issues with my old EK. They felt better than eg seats.

Si's do sit higher though but they are nice. Only diffirence now is i feel the need to buy my armrest that im missing.
