Default Should I part out my civic or give it to insurance?

I wrecked my 97 civic DX last week, and I need to decide if it would be more worthwhile to part it out, or just give salvage to insurance. The motor and transmission are still intact, but the suspension and everything are wrecked, and the interior is still in perfect condition, as is the body on the rear half. Any ideas on about how much the car might be worth if I parted it out myself?

Also, sorry if this is OT, but what do I have to do to post in the Classified's forum? I've been lurking here a few months, and I have some aftermarket parts that I never put in my car that I now no longer need.
