This is my first post. My Civic VX was stolen about a week ago, and though I got it back, it was stripped of the instrument panel, front bumper, fenders, and some other parts. It's basically trashed cosmetically but still a strong-running car with good tires, factory alloy wheels, new brakes, etc.

Anyway, I just registered so that I could adertise my car or its parts for sale. How/when can I do this? I read through the Classified Forum Rules - Please Read. Tried clicking the "help" button at the top of the forums, but got a message saying something like "there is no help available for this forum." I did see the "no trial users allowed" on most of the forums which would be appropriate for my posts. Couldn't find the "trial user" definition in the Terms of Service or anywhere else, though. This place doesn't seem to be too user-friendly. Can I just post my car/parts for sale?

well, after 15 days (dont quote me on that) I think you become a member... or maybe it's after so many posts lol anyways, talk to the Mod of this forum, or one of the mods in the classifieds forum and ask them... can't hurt to ask

You will be a trial user for 15 or 20 days. Then you can post in classifieds/vehicles for sale. The thread will probably be locked/deleted if you post it in here. A good way to do it is post it in your signature so people can see it before you can post in the classifieds. Mention a location as well.


Oh yeah, sorry to hear your car got stolen, I hate thieves.

I don't have the time to wait that long (or to be a post ***** LOL), so I'll probably just donate the car to charity. I'm thinking about the vo-tech program at the local high school. Hopefully I can get a tax deduction.

Bone stock. I got new brakes, rotors, calipers, and tires several months ago. It was perfect. I used it mostly for long trips. Now, with the sheet metal and instrument panel ripped out, I don't even know if they'll accept it as a donation. Of course it was the only car out of three I owned that was uninsured (paid off, liability only).
