The Transporter thing is sick. You need a code to turn on the car.

Get a remote start alarm system. They wow the crowd when you aren't even near your car and it starts.

yeha. remote starter is like OLD. It's stupid to me, and many. Waste your money on the part and the gas the car burns while your not in it, so ppl can go WOW(which was like years ago). good luck with the alarm 00si. just don't pay out the azz at bestbuy for an alarm,so try it out. good luck

Id say go for it, Im definately picking up an alarm since im transferring to a college in a suburb of Albany. The transporter keypad is a great idea, I was gonna install a kill switch but that is way cooler. If you get either the alarm let me know how it performs.

It's illegal in the state of clairfornia to have remote start on a manual car. What if it's in gear then it's going to start jumping. That's the mean i want this alarm because it doesn't have a remote start. Which inside as all these cool other stuff. Really remote start is really old matter of fact it's older than internet. LOL
But i know a guy who will install it for about 150$ i know it's a lot of ****. So i can't do it. But am ask him if he can do this alarm. I denfitety need some sort of protection my car as of now has only a factory keyless entry. So am really in danger.

the point of a remote starter is not to "wow" people. the point is to start your car so it has a chance to warm up before you drive it without having to actually go out to it ,start it, and then sit in it while it warms up. i don't personally know anyone who has gotten a remote starter because they were trying to impress people. and a remote starter in a manual car should have some sensor in it that prevents it from starting if the car is in gear, one would like to think that someone thought of this before.

alarm looks ok. since it gives you so many extras price wise might be worth it. but im sure something will fail on you long term wise

it's old anyway my brother had it in his integra like in 2005 so it's old to me and it gets borning after a while. The keypad is way cooler for me i don't give a **** what people think. Mean purpose is to protect my car not to impress people.

i agree. i bought my 99 si from someone who worked at tweeter...brought it home, was trying to figure out how to remote-open moonroof and it crushed my bf's leg into the wall.

Especially living in socal, why would you need to warm up your car to that extent?
