Shock install this weekend, couple questions
I have read some tutorials on how to replace shocks, and I have a couple of questions.
How low do you have to be before you need to cut your bumpstops? I'm pretty low but i don't know how many inches of a drop my car is at.
I think I only have bumpstops on the front shocks, is this correct?
Are there any oem honda parts I need to replace, like any nuts or washers that once are taken off need to be replaced.
I am guessing i need to get an allignment job after i put the shocks on
BTW: Shocks are KYB AGX's.
Thanks for the help, more info the better.

Depending if you use the stockstops or not will determine if you need to cut them. The ones supplied with konis, for example, are real soft so you wouldn't want to cut those.
As for replacing bolts/washers, I personally wouldn't unless they look nasty and rusted. Or you trash them trying to get them out.
As for alignment, any kind of drop will throw it out of spec. I would recommend getting one for the sake of your tires.

yup just re-use them, when i had my eg8 i had oem shocks with coilover sleves and it was a daily driver at 75mm of ground clearence when i did them i cut the bumpstops in half( i think is two of the ribs off) and was fine, just gives you added room before you start sitting on them giving you a real bouncy ride
